M-Tac has released a themed t-shirt with a unique print that is dedicated to FPV operators and their deadly drones.

The print features a stylized skull wearing FPV goggles and a patriotic yellow and blue headband against a “sun flag” known in Japan as Hinomaru (“circle of the sun” or “circle of fire”). On the left is a kamikaze drone equipped with an RPG round, which is one of the most common and effective ways to destroy enemy equipment.

The name of the t-shirt “KAMIKAZE SPIRIT” fully reflects the ideology and activities of FPV drone operators, who today reproduce the ancient traditions of Japanese kamikaze pilots, but in the context of current life.

During the Second World War, in the final phase of the Pacific theater of operations, the Japanese were in a rather hopeless position against the American fleet. Therefore, they decided to create a unique military unit of kamikaze – suicide pilots, whose main goal was to cause maximum damage to enemy equipment.

Each plane was equipped with a 200-250 kg bomb and was controlled exclusively by a kamikaze pilot who voluntarily gave his life, believing that in this way he was serving the Motherland and helping to achieve victory. The Japanese called such kamikaze pilots the “special assault squad of the divine wind”, reflecting their special role and importance in combat operations.

Times have changed, and so has war. Therefore, now the traditional Japanese method of fighting the enemy is performed by FPV drones, which are expertly controlled by experienced operators, without sacrificing their lives.

The “KAMIKAZE SPIRIT” t-shirt print from M-Tac conveys the spirit and traditions of Japanese kamikaze pilots, radiating courage, bravery and willingness to take risks for the sake of a higher goal. It is the personification of will and an example of how a person can show extraordinary fortitude to win.
